There is nothing I find more satisfying than riding horseback through the Texas hill country. Moving slowly through shallow streams and creeks, observing the various wildflowers and spring vegetation as they fade into summer, reminds me of how precious and special life really is. The seasons are certain to change and the beauty of spring gives way to the heat of summer and then the cold of winter but the touch of our Creator has left His fingerprint on it all.
