15 x 10 limited edition (only 125 available) signed & numbered giclee on canvas by artist Howard Terpning
Apaches become scouts for the army and tracked down fellow tribesmen. Disunity and blood feuds that separated the different Apache groups played a large part in recruiting Apaches as scouts.
The regular pay was also an incentive. But to an Apache, being well-armed and using tracking and fighting skills probably was more appealing than the cramped confinement of reservation life.
