The arrival of springs brings much needed moisture to America's ranchlands. Even though the rain brings a smile to the cowboy's face, the work must go on despite the discomforts. These cowboys are beginning the spring round-up in damp saddles and yellow slickers with a camaraderie seldom shared in other professions. Soon "Cookie" will have the chuck wagon set, the skillet in the fire, and the biscuits in the Dutch oven. When the sun pops out and the cattle call, these men will be about their business, no longer thinking that "Misery Loves Company."
